This Dutch-born actress, singer and TV host, grew up mostly in the Netherlands Anilles in Curaçao, and had a few hit songs and TV shows on her name, by the time she turned 17
She was the Entertainment reporter on 'Dirty Water, and can also be seen in the Bernie & Phyl's TV commercials. Her previous TV experiences include appearances on the VH1 TV series 'Sound Affects', hosting on XYTV's 'The VIP' and 'The Gossip Swap',and before that she hosted
'Wie is er Nieuwsgierig?', a dutch TV Childrens show in the Netherlands Antilles.
Kizzy graduated from Berklee College of Music, Boston, in 2003.
She was named 'One of Boston's Top 10 most eligible Bachelorettes' by the Improper Bostonian Magazine, and was on the cover of the magazine. She was the lead singer for the Bo Winiker Orchestra with whom she performed for Bill Clinton, Deval Patrick, and The Rockefeller Family to name a few.


At Berklee, she sang lead vocals in many shows held at the BPC including
'Singer's Showcase', ' Singer's Night' 'Women's Musician Network, 'Songwriter's Showcase' and she performed as a background singer for Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, and for Susan Tedeschi.
With the Berklee Gospel choir, she sang backups for Al Kooper and Kim Burrell. She was the featured dancer at the 'Tribute to David Bowie Commencement Concert' , with Bowie and wife Iman watching from the BPC seats.  Kizzy was invited in to the Berklee Dean's Club and Presidents Club, as a  'Outstanding performer'..
While at Berklee, she took acting at Emerson College, and Musical Theater and dance at the Boston Conservatory. Previous dutch acting teachers include Rutger de Bekker,

 




Diederik Ebinge, Patrick Stoof and Kasper van Kooten whom visited Curacao to give acting workshops, and direct theater productions Remember my Name' and 'Aangespoeld' in which Kizzy starred as a lead actor and singer.

She was the winner of the 'Curacao mini-playback-show' at the tender age of 9, the same year that she had her first principal role, playing 'Anita' in the musical 'Vlieg Op!'.
She joined Theater Group 'Theatrum' with whom she would act and perform on stage and in several theaters, for the next 6 years.

Before the Boston Conservatory, dance classes started in Holland, Europe at the age of 3 (Tosca Balm Ballet Academie), and continued on Curaçao at Ecole de Danse.
At Ecole de Dance she joined the ATD (Antilean Dance Theater) with whom she performed with many succesful dance companies uncluding 'Het Nationaal Ballet', 'Show Ballet' and 'Jeans'.
At the Boston Conservatory she took classes in Musical theater with  advanced ballet, jazz, modern and tap.

Kizzy was the winner of the 'Caribbean-European Talent Contest '95. A year later she one the most prestigious music prize of the Caribbean; The National Song Festival. After winning the National Song Festival, Kizzy became the representative of Curacao in Barbados, were The Caribbean Song Festival (the finals) were held.
Kizzy placed third representing Curacao at the 1996 Caribbean Song Festival.
'Song to Life' was written by Joseph Hart and famous Antillean composer Errol 'El Toro' Collina.

That same year Kizzy performed in Surinam, where her concert was aired life on TV.



 

In She was also the opening act for Guus Meewus in Curacao.
1997 she recorded and collaborated on 'Lamu-Lamu' which became a smash hit throughout the Antilles, and other Islands in the Caribbean.

In 1998 after finalizing "Wie is er Nieuwsgierig?", a successful kids TV show which she hosted, Kizzy flew to Majorca, Spain, where she was recording under contract with a German record label.
She received word that she was accepted at Berklee College of Music, and was awarded a full scholarship. br> Kizzy left for Boston, Massachusetts shortly after, terminating her spanish studio project.

At the 'Kwakoe Festival' in Amsterdam, Holland's biggest multi cultural event, she was the featured performer and MC for six weeks in the Summer of 1999.
Kizzy wrote and recorded the Kwakoe jingle
It's Kwakoe Time Again!, which was used to promote the event.
She was invited by Radio Hilversum to star in the 3 hour show hosted by Harold Beerfliet, and due to her success at Kwakoe, producers of Studio NL made a documentary about her that aired on Studio NL.

Kizzy's TV shows and concerts were aired on TV stations in several countries, and her performances and TV shows have reached headlines in Caribbean, South America and Europe.
Aside from being invited as a TV personality to model for different fashion shows, Kizzy was a MC and jury member at the 2008 Miss Boston Beauty Pageant.

In 2009 she moved back to the Netherlands.
